ABSTRACT

This is a good quick exercise. The tutor allocates each student a couple of different letters so as to cover all 26 letters of the alphabet. For each of the letters they have been given, the students are asked to think of an issue, theory, personality or event from the course. They then write these topics down on pieces of paper and throw them into a container. The tutor takes the pieces of paper out of the container. To the first student sitting on his or her left he or she reads out the 'A' topic, to the second student on his or her left the 'B' item and so on.
