ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the activity of multiple choice in a nutshell, aim of the activity, need of the activity, time required for the activity, how the activity works and the advantages of the activity. The activity aims to simplify key issues and debates, to stimulate debate - but also to offer definite answers, and to engender learning through small-group discussion - and through making mistakes. Multiple-choice tests, to be produced by either the tutor or students. Income elasticity of demand for a commodity measures the responsiveness ofprice to changes in income.income to changes in price. Some subjects and topics are very difficult to simplify into multiple-choice questions and answers and this technique may, therefore, have its limitations. The multiple-choice approach may be particularly valuable when the subject matter is an abstract idea or theory.
