ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the activity of maximum three in a nutshell, aim of the activity, need of the activity, time required for the activity, how the activity works and the advantages of the activity. Simplify and clarify a codified charter, constitution or manifesto by abbreviating its contents into 'short and snappy' summary points. The activity of maximum three is aims to increase understanding of a key document and to cut through the complex jargon so often associated with official texts. All the students can take advantage of their colleagues' work in simplifying the other terms/articles by writing down the whole document in condensed form, and using this as a record of the session. Students will understand that complex documents can be made more accessible, and that abbreviated summaries can only follow on from good, general understanding.
