ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the activity of socio-economic predictions in a nutshell, aim of the activity, need of the activity, time required for the activity, how the activity works and the advantages of the activity. This activity aims to investigate and illuminate important electoral data from a different perspective and to introduce an element of role-play and excitement into an area of study — numbers and tables - that is usually taught in a very dry and predictable manner. Students will consider the viewpoint of a specific group of voters, and will be compelled to understand and empathize with their particular political perspective. They will also have to judge the worth of the miscellaneous facts and indicators given to them by the tutor.
