ABSTRACT

The second stereotype that associates women with material culture, is the one that refers to objects of personal adornment. Material acquisitions of this category, mainly jewellery, offer the model of the woman as a frivolous, vain, time-wasting person, unconcerned with the civil life, who instead presents a danger to society, since personal adornment of this sort aims at men's seduction, and the making of biased decisions.
