The idea of continuing in ‘another life’ is not very important. The idea of eternal life is immensely important.
What is the relation of the soul and body? What is the concern for one’s soul that Socrates talks about? Or what is the concern for one’s soul talked about in the Psalms and the New Testament? If the soul were simply a kind of ghost, why should it be so important? Why should we worry about it?
