The author tells the children to read the whole story of The Tiny Seed to the children. The children in this chapter are introduced with floating and sinking as a way of sorting by giving them a pot of water to try the seeds in. They are they then asked to imagine how small that tiny seed blows up high in the sky like that. The tiny seed lands in the earth and goes to sleep. Seaweed is a plant and it grows in the sea but the tiny seed grows into a flower so it is different. The author says that wherever we plant our seed we must think about what might happen to the seed and whether it will start to grow and write down a prediction. In a week or so, we can check to see if all the authors's predictions were right.
