ABSTRACT

In the "Procedures" subsection, you should describe the physical things you plan to do in order to conduct your study. Usually, you should address these issues: what you will do, when you will do it, and for how long you will do it.! This should be done even for seemingly simple methodological studies such as mailed surveys, which is illustrated in Example 1. Example 1

Postcards that describe the upcoming study will be mailed to all names on the mailing list. These cards will stress the importance of the study and ask recipients to watch their mail for the questionnaire that will be arriving soon. Previous research indicates that prior notification by postcard has a positive effect on response rate (Doe, 2004).
