ABSTRACT

Conclusions are summary statements about the research topic that are linked to the ba-

sic questions or hypotheses, and to the data. The data analysis is most often a study of simi-

larities or differences, or an attempt to describe and explain situations, circumstances, or phe-

nomena. The concluding remarks are the result of the researcher's inductive leap from the

data, or the researcher's deductive statements about the data. In either case, there must be a

logical connection to the data, and the concluding statements must be related to the questions

asked or the hypotheses posed.
