ABSTRACT

This chapter aims to answer a pivotal question as to the propinquity of a revolution in police psychology after a revolution in clinical science occurred. Leaders from both police science and the science of police psychology include their unique prognoses and predictions as to the shape of what is to come present some unique prognoses and predictions as to the shape of what is to come in years ahead. By all standards, the evidence is in the corner that a scientific revolution in Police Psychology has taken place. Police Psychology's novel solutions in newer and more effective problem identification and solutions hint that a revolution in science has occurred. Police psychology is an incredibly rewarding and satisfying area of psychology serving a much-needed but underserved population. Three deeper interviews taken by the author as a Cop Doc places the evolution of Police Psychology in the saddle of three interviewees with approximately 120 years collectively of police and police psychology experience.
