ABSTRACT
The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association specifies a version of the “author-date” method for in-text citations. This method can be parenthetical or non-parenthetical, as described below. For each in-text citation, there should be a full bibliographic reference in the reference list at the end of the manuscript. The preparation of reference lists in APA style is described in the next topic.
