ABSTRACT
To this point, our focus in this textbook
has been the assessment of individual stu-
dent performance. In this chapter, how-
relates to the performances of groups of
students. Assessing group work is not as
straightforward as it may seem; it should
not be viewed as a simple extension of
individual student assessment resulting
from the inclusion of more students.
