ABSTRACT
The one-way within subjects analysis of variance (ANOVA) is used when the means of an independent variable are compared on a continuous dependent variable of interest. In a within subjects ANOVA, the independent variable is a within subjects factor with two or more levels, where each participant receives all levels of the independent variable. 1 An example of a one-way within subjects ANOVA is presented next.
