ABSTRACT

A one-between–one-within subjects ANOVA is used when two independent variables are evaluated on a dependent variable of interest. In the one-between–one-within ANOVA, one of the independent variables is a between subjects factor and the other is a within subjects factor. The between subjects factor consists of two or more levels, where each participant receives only one level of the treatment. The within subjects factor consists of two or more levels, where each participant receives all levels of the treatment. 1 An example of a one-between–one-within ANOVA is presented next.
