ABSTRACT

You’ve prepared the plan and defined the activities and dependencies, your team is up and running, and you’ve ensured that all your stakeholders are being kept in the picture. You’ve started ‘doing’ and are now in the thick of the delivery phase of your project. This isn’t about leaving the team to get on with it, now that the plans have been developed and are being executed. As all experienced project leaders know, it doesn’t work quite like that. This phase involves keeping your finger on the pulse of the project and reviewing, checking and anticipating.
