ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I consider some attempts to define three crucial concepts in sex: “sexual act,” “sexual desire,” and “sexual pleasure,” and some attempts to define three types of sexual activity: “adultery,” “casual sex,” and “prostitution.” Defining these concepts allows us to reach interesting insights about sex and to learn how to think philosophically in the process.
