ABSTRACT

Creating and implementing Business of Humanity (BoH) Strategies in an organization require the organization’s leadership to be at the point where we hope we have now brought readers of this book firmly believing in the synergy of social benefit and economic value. Beyond the inductive understanding and deductive reasoning that we have offered in support of the BoH Proposition, the organization’ s leadership needs to be committed to BoH Strategies at the most fundamental level, with this commitment deriving from their core values. Such a fundamental commitment is necessary because BoH Strategies require significant creativity in their formulation and great dedication in their implementation. It is all too easy to achieve short-term profits by disregarding the business’s responsibility to society.
