ABSTRACT
This chapter presents a story of Swag—a female commuter student who has a Learning Community (LC) perspective different from Holmes. At first, she thought LC was such a great idea. Getting to meet her professors beforehand was really nice. As classes had started she had got to know more people and become friends with them. During the semester, Swag loved her classes because it challenged her to do better. College writing program (CWP) was a really awesome class because not only was it required but it will help us in future classes when people have to write a paper. UNC 100 was an awesome experience class too. Even outside of LC, she did not have very many friends either. All the students were nice but they already had a lot of friendships made because they were dorming and were together a lot of the time.
