ABSTRACT
Undoubtedly, the new Emperor had loved his father very much and was consequently very grieved by his death; but, in addition, he was distressed at the thought of his new responsibilities, for which he was totally unprepared. Moreover, he was very much in love with his bride-to-be. Thus, he was subject to various and strong impressions.
