ABSTRACT
The last bill signed by President John F. Kennedy shortly before his assassination was an act of Congress authorizing a commemorative medal in honor of the Union Health Center of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union. The occasion was the fiftieth anniversary of the medical facility established in 1914.
