ABSTRACT

Macroeconomics is now all post-Keynesian, but what that means concretely varies with economists. Popularly Keynes is now discredited by anti-Keynesians, although there is still some ongoing controversy. Here are some things to consider in evaluating the controversy that has followed ever since the publication of Keynes's General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money in 1936. A few things said in the preceding section may need to be repeated in this context.
