ABSTRACT
The governing body ofNAFTA, the Free Trade Commission, shall "supervise the implementation of the agreement" and "oversee its further elaboration" (NAFTA 1992, 20-1). The commission also is charged with helping to resolve disputes arising from the application ofNAFTA, and for overseeing the activities of the various committees, working groups, and other subsidiary bodies created by the agreement.
