TheproblemsthattradebarriersortotalitariangovernmentpoliciesposeforChina'sintegrationintotheworldeconomyare relativelysimpleforthelaymantounderstand.Theproblems posedbyChina'scontrolsonforeignexchangeandinternational financialtransactionsareabitmoredifficultfornoneconomists tograsp,however.Manyevenfindthetopicintimidating.Certainly,theeconomicsofexchangeratesandinternationalfinance areintimidatingtopics,buttheproblemscausedbyChinesepoliciesinthisareaareamongthekeyhurdlesthatmustbeconfrontedinordertointegrateChinaintotheworldeconomy,and theyareintegrallyrelatedtootherproblems.
