ABSTRACT

The focus of this session and the next three subsequent sessions will be on appropriate dating etiquette. In particular, the current lesson highlights how to let someone know you like them. This is a highly useful skill for those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other social challenges, who often struggle in this area. Research suggests that the majority of adults with ASD are without a romantic partner, even though most express interest in forming romantic relationships. For many, it is not a question of wanting to date, but rather not knowing how to date. Consequently, mistakes are often made in the process of trying to secure a romantic partner.
