ABSTRACT
On the basis of the 1931 Census, Tfe-Ilesha Division, with an area of 1,558 square miles had 83 persons per square mile; Ife District with 708 square miles had 67 persons per square mile, while Ilesha and Ilia combined, with an area of 850 square miles, averaged 96 per square mile.
