ABSTRACT
Developing an appropriate business definition, which meets company needs requires answering truthfully several questions prior to establishing the SDF team, such as the following:
1. Where are we today? Specifically, what are the client needs, what is the current state of the company’s strategic forecasting, what functions does it perform, how does it meet the needs of clients, what needs go unmet, and how can the current state be improved?
