ABSTRACT
Jung states his belief that astrology is the science and psychology of antiquity, and asserts astrology’s value today, as a source of psychological and mythic insight for understanding the human personality. We read here details of Jung’s encounters with astrologers, his own study of and practice of astrology, and his views of the field’s shortcomings, such as giving interpretations that are too literal and failing to conduct empirical studies into astrology.
