Numerousvarietiesofsnakesexistintheregionandmanyofthemare poisonous.103Theyincludemambas,cobras,puff-addersandpythons.Insectsand analogouspestsareverycommon,themostnotableofthoseattackingmanandcattle beingmosquitos,ticksandtsetse.Scorpionsandpoisonousspidersandcentipedesare found.Therearevariousinsectpestswhichdamagecrops.101o
