ABSTRACT

The theoretical contribution potential was also linked to the societal impact potential: the interventionist research process led into solutions that could be utilized in the industry more broadly. Even though the 'value proposition' of the researcher in terms of the managerial processes in the healthcare organizations was straightforward the welcome was not as warm as one might expect. Access to talk to the customers of the intervened organization tends not to be an easy decision for management; somehow the risks of allowing an outsider access to talk to the customers are considered great. Interventions in many cases are used to facilitate access to interesting management-related areas (MA)-related phenomenon and can, therefore, be focused on very versatile MA though the theory contribution will be positioned in management accounting. Introducing robots and automation to home care is an important topic in developed countries with aging populations, and MA perspectives can provide interesting venues for societal debate.
