ABSTRACT
Shortly after I started writing this book, I received notice that funding for Stepping Stones would not continue. Although the groups had been highly valued by the participants and supported by local health professionals, funding was reviewed annually and always uncertain. I was unsure if alternative funding could be found and, if not, the groups would have to end.
