ABSTRACT
Dan began by talking about work. He had been asked to take on more work, bit of overtime, and he knew that he could do with the money, but he was unsure. He was still struggling and couldn’t make his mind up, but he had to decide by tomorrow. They spent the first part of the session exploring this and Dan still couldn’t decide. He wanted to make the decision based on the person he was seeking to become, not the person that he was. He knew that his old self would have had the attitude of ‘fuck it, don’t do any more than you have to’, but he didn’t want to be that way, but he also wasn’t sure if he felt OK enough to take it on.
