ABSTRACT
Jeannie was very aware of the discussion in her last supervision session and had had a therapy session since then and begun to address the chaos and self- destruct issues in her self. It had been very helpful. Yes, it did feel as though her mirror had got smudged again. The sense she was left with was that it’s as though that bit of the glass gets damaged and somehow, as a result, smudges tend to stick and build up quicker than elsewhere. It probably wasn’t just working with Dan that had exacerbated the smudge; it may already have been building up without her realising it. Anyway, she was addressing it now and she had an image that she would certainly carry with her. She was aware of smiling to herself. Such a simple image, and yet so much meaning and value to it.
