ABSTRACT

Jim had arrived on time and had walked up the path, and was ringing the buzzer. He could see some movement through the frosted glass so he waited for Diana to open the door. He heard Pauline’s voice, ‘Give it a push, it’s unlocked.’ He did so. It hadn’t been Diana that he’d seen. It was Pauline, sitting grinning in a rather shiny, new wheelchair, with a high back support and, well, everything but the go-fast stripe down the side!
