ABSTRACT
Healing is work, not gambling. It is the work of inspiration, not manipulation. If we the healers are to do the work of helping to bring our people together again, we need to know such work is the work of a community. It cannot be done by any individual. It should not depend on any single person however heroic he may be. And it can’t be done by people who don’t understand the healing vocation – no matter how good such people may be as individuals.
