ABSTRACT
Advances in technology have meant that the DNA molecule can be analyzed in different ways to that described in the previous chapters. New DNA techniques have been used for medical purposes. The latest technologies have been used in conjunction with mitochondrial DNA and Y-STR profiling to identify bones in ‘ancient’ DNA.
