This (ninth) chapter o f the book addresses research and its translation to practice, as well as education, in relation to PCC for persons with SMI. These academic aspects are important to address, as without them PCC cannot be practiced in an ever more evidence-based manner and by future generations o f providers. This chapter is informed by issues raised in other chapters, as research, knowledge translation and education are informed by theory and practice, as discussed in Chapters 1-8.
