ABSTRACT
In the previous example, the conclusion is “Some politicians are not logic students.” The major term is logic students, and the minor term is politicians. Irrational people, which appears once in each of the premises but not in the conclusion, is the middle term. The major premise is “No logic students are irrational people.” The minor premise is “Some politicians are irrational people.”
