ABSTRACT
This book is a slight modifi cation from the Author’s PhD thesis at the Australian National University. This research approach chapter is modifi ed from the methodology chapter of the thesis. It discusses the considerations of the choice of qualitative case study as the methodology to achieve the research objectives and to answer the research questions. This chapter also discusses research sampling and units of analysis, and the process of data collection, data analysis and theory development, as well as issues of the qualitative case study method.
