ABSTRACT

This formidable volume is about fourteen inches long by seven wide, and contains 352 pages of small print in double column. It is written concisely, and is simply packed with information. A glance suffices to show that an account of its contents cannot be compressed into one article of reasonable length. The commissioners who write the Reports are Miss. E. Orme, Miss C. E. Collet, Miss M. Abraham, and Miss M. Irwin. Miss Orme, as the senior commissioner, writes the preface and edits the work.
