ABSTRACT

In the half-yearly Higher Examinations of Trinity -<Jollege four ladies matriculated, one taking honours. This same lady (Miss Mary E. Cooper) passed in Further Arts. As Associates in Music, nine ladies are in the Pass List. There are five Associate Pianists, and all are women, while among the much larger number of Certificated Pianists there are as many as thirty-one. The one Certificated Vocalist is Eveline Warren (Devonport), and the one Certificated Harpist is Annie E. M. Carnes (Taunton). Harmony Certificates have been taken by three ladies ; Counterpoint Certificates by three, and Maud Elizabeth Cater (Trinity College) is the one name iu Hononrti.
