ST. JAMES's DWELLINGs.-On July 26th, the Hon. Maude Stanley laid the foundation of dwellings in Beck Street, Westminster, which are to be let at moderate rents to poor but respectable people. A considerable number of friends interested in the welfare . of the district were present. Before laying the atone Miss Stanley said she congratulated them upon the great work which they had . undel'takeu.
