SHEFFIELD.-This election took place also on the 5th. The poll was exceptionally heavy. 'l'he principal struggle was between the Church and Conservative 8, and the unsectarian 7. The latter were generally un..; successful, but Mrs. Sara Ruth Wilson (unsectarian) was elected fifth on the poll with 18,321 votee, and Mr. ff. J. Wilson, who was chairman of the last Board, thirteenth.
