ABSTRACT
The motion was seconded hy Mrs. Haycraft, who spoke strongly of the· injustice inflicted on the deserving and unfortunate poor, who under the present system were compelled day and night to herd with the most depraved and dissolute of mankind, and expressed a. hope that a system of classification might bb adopted and the separation of aged married couples be avoided.
