Art. V.—Women as Poor Law Guardians

A Meeting of the County of Cork Poor Law Reform Association was held on February 9th, at which the following excellent paper by Miss Florence Davenport Hill, on "Women as Poor Law Guardians," was read. It contains so clear a sketch of the good that women have been already able to accomplish in this responsible office, that we are glad to copy it from the report of the Cork Constitution.—
