ABSTRACT

Our American friends held, during the first week of March, the National Women's Suffrage Convention in Washington. In spite of the inclement weather, there was a large attendance during the four days that the Convention lasted. Reports were read from about twenty of the States by ladies who have been active in work, and many papers of great interest were submitted to the Convention. Miss Anthony, who has become so well and pleasantly known to a large English circle of friends, presided over the meetings and introduced the speakers. The delegates present were: New York, Susan B.
