ABSTRACT
Careful inquiry is being made, if under the new Municipal Law women are admissible with the rest of the public to be present at the meetings of the Municipal Councils. The Gazette des Famines naturally expresses its astonishment that such an inquiry should be necessary, as women are admitted as spectators to the debates in the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
