ABSTRACT

The Rev. T. M'CULLAGH (Wesleyan, English) said that the late Bishop Selwyn bad said that wben be saw women hard at work for bazaars, it reminded him of the savages in N ew Zealand, who made the women work. He believed the women of tbe Chureh of England were doing more house-to-house visitation than the Methodist women, though to some extent it might be the fault of the ministers in not organising such visitations.
