ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the personnel guidelines, repository information, information about project forms, and project work space guidelines. Members of project teams carry out a project plan; identifying project team roles is a planning step. Project team roles also include office help, interview recording help and equipment maintenance, bookkeeping, and cataloging. Recommending a repository arrangement is a project planning team responsibility; options include libraries, archives, historical societies, museums, and digital repositories. Long-term preservation of oral histories is an ethical commitment. Oral histories are unique in a number of ways and often baffle curators. The Internet is a widely-used tool; just make sure your project plans are clear about how best to use it for your community and your project. Work space may be just a desk, chair, work table, and file cabineta place to store project records and hold meetings. Letters of Agreement list the ethical and project performance expectations for team members.
