ABSTRACT
These “lessons” are drawing to a close, but I have one final idea to share with you. It is something that I have been meaning to write about: the use of analogy in writing. This reveals the teacher in me, the part that wants to make sure that the lesson has been understood. One looks for analogies intended to help others understand. The intent is never to make things more complex, but to make comparison with something presumed to be familiar or more readily understood.
