This conclusion presents some closing thoughts sdiscussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explores the essentials of the dyadic interviewing. The general position throughout the book has been that dyadic interviews that are probably more similar to the focus groups than they are different from them; however, the evidence for this claim is mostly intuitive. A different option at the more general level concerns the possibility of doing the online dyadic interviews, specifically using the video connections. As with the comparison between dyadic interviews and focus groups, the question also requires a method for making systematic comparisons between different types of interviews. Further, just as dyadic interviews over the telephone mimic the naturally occurring version of this format, face-to-face interviews over the Internet may also provides a comfortable environment for those who are already familiar with the technology.
